Calia Christian

Hello fashion babes, my name is Calia Christian.   I was born and raised in the Bronx. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Before and during that time I interned for George Cortina and Interview Magazine. Both helped me get a feel of the industry I love and love to create in. Being from such a diverse and cultured environment allowed me to create my own style and live freely in my choice of pieces. NYC is the place of fashion and trends, where we see wild outfits and staple clothing everywhere you step. My style is a part of who I am and expresses my personality/mood before I speak. This is why I love styling and creative direction. Both allow me to tell stories through clothing, and imagery. I’ve learned to push boundaries in my work and to remain true to my true self because that’s the only way to create authentic innovations/looks.
